 DJ Chuck Chillout has been a staple of hip hop for 30 years. In 1982 he began his first DJ job at 98.7 KISS FM. In 1989 he released his first album 'Masters of the Universe' with emcee Kool Chip. The album helped garner the group worldwide attention and set the stage for his future work spreading hip-hop around the globe. DJ Chuck Chillout has an established reputation for breaking hit records. He was among the first to play records for iconic groups like Public Enemy and helped launched DMX's career by being the first to play 'Get At Me Dog'.

Hop’s pioneers gathered to commend the release of the Platinum Limited
Edition of “Hip Hop: A Cultural Odyssey.” The anthology, compiled and
edited by Jordan Sommers of Aria Media Entertainment, chronicles the
progression of Hip-Hop from its humble NY street corner beginnings to
