F. Shaw

F. Shaw just released his new mixtape “Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained”. Now you may be thinking to yourself, “Oh. Just another mixtape, huh?” Well, quickly get those thoughts out of your head. NVNG was the proper title for this piece. Shaw took the time, effort , drive and dedication into crafting up theme music for the streets of the native Far Rockaway and worldwide.

The Rich Brovaz/Rockstreet Affiliate and frequent Green Studio NYC collaborator takes you on a lyrical journey with street tracks such as “It’s Cold” and “Big Stacks” and switches up the emotion with variation such as the heartfelt track “Neglected”. Overall, this mixtape is nothing ordinary, nothing simple, nothing to overlook but something to give your ear to. Recorded, mixed and artwork handled by Green Studio NYC, NVNG is exactly what the title says.

The Lama Squad

'Built Off Stress' is the latest mixtape coming out of the Lama Squad camp. Lama Squad members Namm and Poor Man combine on this project to deliver a CD (or playlist) full of can't miss tracks. They constantly build off of each others energy while maintaining their individual style and vibe. The result is a mixtape that manages to cover a lot of ground musically while maintaining a cohesive sound throughout. Long story short 'it's a banga!'

The entire 'Built Off Stress' mixtape was recorded, mixed and mastered at Green Studio NYC.  Poor Man and Namm came to every session ready to work. On several of the tracks they rhymed back and forth. These tracks are when we really get to hear the chemistry of the duo in action.  Tracks like 'Mary' and 'D.U.O.' make for a nice change up from the normal 16 bars we're used to hearing from emcees.

There's something for everyone on this mixtape, check out the video below to get a sneak peak. Don't forget to leave your comments and show some love.
