Hypothetical question:

If there was no European influence on Black people, what would be our standards of beauty? Would it be straight hair, alkaline features, and light skin? Or would the standards of beauty be dark skin, spiral hair, and dark eyes? These are questions that should make us think. If slavery would have never happened, and the dark skin and light skin “Willie Lynch” mentality was never developed, what would be the standard of beauty? Are the results of slavery still haunting us? To answer this, I would say Hell Yes. Why else would a black woman with dark eyes put blue contacts in her eyes? I am not downing peoples with blue eyes, but I feel why not be proud of what you already have. Many defend their choice of fashion by saying it a fashion statement. A fashion statement is wearing some ripped jeans or a sequence halter top, but to change the very thing that makes you divine is a form of self hate. As far as desiring straight hair, the spirals in your hair indicate how close to nature you are because your hair spirals to the sun. Our hair is so divine that there is a mathematical sequence called Fibonacci in which proves how natural our hair is. Fibonacci Spiral is geometrically beautiful and can be found in all aspects of nature from vegetation to the cosmos. The integers go in a sequence such as follows:  1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987, 1597, 2584……… ect.
Why strive for straight hair and calcify your pineal gland with harsh chemicals to change the natural sequence of what makes you beautiful? Because a European concept that has poisoned your mind? Or because you want to fit in society? Or because your perception of beauty is warped? Next time you meet someone who wants to strip away their divine black beauty, ask them these questions.

Black is Beautiful


Growing up, I have witnessed the most mind blowing things, but I find battles of the skin color to be the most bizarre. Most call it the Willie Lynch Syndrome. I just call it plain ignorance.

I noticed how the color issue in the Black Community is somewhat dividing us. People are so stuck on the light skin verses dark skin, and who is better than the other. We have bigger issues to worry about. When I sat back and watched a 5 year old little girl put white make up on her face, it broke my heart. I walked up to her and asked “Why are you doing that to your face?” She responded and said she wanted to be pretty. It broke my heart. This was a result of her mother using skin bleaching products. In case you didn’t know AMBI has skin bleaching properties and currently skin bleaching is more popular than ever.

Skin bleaching strips your Melanin away and if you don’t know what Melanin is, let’s just say you need to do major research. Black is beautiful from light to dark. You are made in the image of the first man and woman to walk this earth so be proud of that Melanin. Whether you're dark, brown, yellow, or red, you’re still black and we are all beautiful. Divinity shouldn’t battle divinity.

Imaginary Battle of the Genders



The communication barriers between men and women are significant. Once both realize how each others brain works, perhaps comprehending each other will be less complicated. I call this the imaginary battle because those who do not comprehend duality, view the genders as two opposing energies. Think about what happens once the energies are combined. Pro-creation. Life.

With this being said, why do people consistantly feel the need to dominate each other? While some Black women are on this independent woman hype,  some of our Black men are screaming how the Black woman needs to submit. Two different directions, so where is the unity? What are the barriers that need to be broken down? If both man and woman have separate roles in a relationship, there is no need for domination and submissive. A doctor doesn’t submit or dominate a Sales Associate. Their positions should not collide. They can help each other but there is no competition. When it comes to duality, the moon doesn’t fight with the sun. The light doesn’t fight with the dark. Two sides of the same coin. Why do men and women feel the need to supress each other’s natural essence? Allow the man to be a man and allow that woman to be a woman.

Plant A Seed

When we look around in our communities and even on television, you see the condition of our people. We are constantly being brainwashed and there are not many voices and free thinkers to assist teaching. Considering there are little to no free thinkers, once one tries to share knowledge, he or she is shut down. One does not receive the support and back up of their community. Some often shake their heads and keeps it moving, while some forsake their people all together. When was the last time you sat down with a youth and unlocked doors in his or her brain? Plant a seed of knowledge so it can later grow into wisdom. You have a busy schedule, but what good is knowledge if you keep it all to yourself? Write out a paragraph no longer than this blog topic, and share it. Talk about Melanin and the rich history of our people. Give people something to have pride about.

Nikki Minaj and Beyonce is what our young women see and take pride in. Lil Wayne and Wacka Flocka are what our young men are praising. One ounce of wisdom is worth more than a ton load of fuckery. Plant a seed in the young minds caught in the matrix.

My Name is Starr Intellectual and welcome to my blog. Here I discuss and elaborate on a wide range of topics from Metaphysics to Tantric Sex. Nothing is taboo or forbidden in the Intellectual world of Starr.

As a critical thinker and an uninhibited free spirited woman, I always thought outside of the box. This led me to asking many questions which were unanswered. These questions consisted of religion, spirituality and other vital aspects essential to personal and emotional development. No one could truthfully or logically answer my questions so I decided I would find the truth myself.

After learning the truth was within all along, I devoted my time to higher learning to enhance what I already had within. After mentoring and lecturing many individuals along the way I began to receive various emails and messages daily on Facebook and Yahoo asking for advice on religious matters, spirituality, metaphysics, astrology, and even sex. After emails exceeding over 100+ a day, I decided to write a book. The book, which will be available for purchasing soon is called, Transitions in this Physical Realm.

During the book's development, my online support system was a group I created which was named  Real Talk with Intellectuals. This group became so active and we the building of minds was unlike any other I have witnessed on the web. The group drew much attention due to the content that was being posted daily. Each day I post and elaborate on the most interesting and mind provoking topics. I'm humble and continue to learn daily, my blunt nature and ability to keep it 100 has gotten me far.
